Pilot Notes
Push the ALT Knob to change ALT Knob units (100/1000).
A/T does not arm until the thrust levers are pushed forward. This is a feature of the A310.
TOGA
TOGA is engaged by holding the N1 THR button for 1 second. Note that the button does not illuminate, as on the real aircraft.
Profile Climb (P.Climb)
Profile Climb does not respect altitude constraints. LVL CHG is more often used. This is a feature of the A310.
CRS
CRS is blank, unless the VOR/NAV/ILS switch is in the VOR position.
ILS CRS is set on the pedestal between the two MCDUs.
BARO
Pushing BARO KNOB to set STD pressure. Rotate the knob to get out of STD.
V/S
V/S behaviour is slightly off, because there is no "V/S engaged" variable for us to access. To set V/S, push the V/S button then rotate the knob to unblank the display.
MINS
RADAR MINS (DH) is implemented, including the button push.
BARO MINS (MDA) is set on the MCDU and is not settable using the knob.
