Important

The MobiFlight setting Automatically perform Retrigger Action with Run Mode should be disabled when using this profile. Failure to do so causes unwanted commands when the profile is Run.


Pilot Notes

FMGC Source

Pushing the COURSE knob cycles the FMGC Source switch between FM1, VOR/ILS1, and VOR/ILS2.

FMGC Source switch on the ATR determines lateral navigation source. LNAV will only engage with FMGC Source on FM1 or FM2. VOR LOC will only activate with the switch in V/ILS1 or V/ILS2.

When the FMGC Source switch is in FM1 (FMS/GPS driving lateral navigation), the COURSE display is blanked. The course display is dimmed when in VOR/ILS2.

One of the V/ILS modes must be selected when conducting an ILS approach, so blanking the course display serves as a useful reminder.

BARO

Pushing the BARO knob sets standard pressure.

MINS

Minimums can be set using the MINS knob. Pushing the knob toggles between DH and MDA. Dial the mins to 0 to remove the PFD readout.

Systems Pages

PUSH RANGE knob to switch between the various systems pages on the captain's MFD. LONG PUSH for 0.5 seconds to return to ND (Navigation Display) map mode.

Heading Sync

HDG knob PUSH syncs the heading bug to your current heading.

Speed

SPEED knob PUSH pushes the SPD TGT (AUTO / MAN) switch. The target IAS switches between automatic (FMS calculated) and manual control.

In MAN, the speed target appears in cyan on the speed tape and is manually controlled using the speed knob.
In AUTO, the speed target appears in magenta on the speed tape and is controlled by the FMS. Optionally, the A/T LED will illuminate to indicate automatic mode. Do not confuse this with autothrottle; the aircraft does not have autothrottle. This LED indication can be disabled by unticking the LED_AT output if desired.

There is no Autothrottle, N1, or CMD B. The switch and buttons are available for reassignment.

TOGA

N1 THR - LONG PUSH activates TOGA.

This mode is selected before takeoff to prime the FMA, and during go-around.
